Training & service

The first medical missionary training school in Central Asia

Every year since 2017 we've trained the next generation of health missionaries. Now we're building them a home: a campus of their own, so we can finally say yes to the students we've had to turn away.

What this addresses

Across Central Asia's villages, whole communities are hours from the nearest doctor — and even further from anyone who will speak to them of God. The illnesses that fill those clinics are exactly the ones simple lifestyle change can ease.

We've simply run out of room. Every session we have to turn away hopeful students for lack of space to house them. This expansion means we can finally say yes to more of them — and send them out.

What we teach

Each cohort lives and studies at the center, working through the LIGHT medical missionary curriculum — the same course used across our sending network. It's run like a working apprenticeship: students rotate through every department — the kitchen, the treatment rooms, the fields — actually doing the work themselves before their final weeks running a real program under supervision.

It's practical, not academic. Graduates leave able to start something real where they live: a health work, a walking group, a table people will actually come to.

Help us build the school

Construction is underway. Our goal is to open the doors of this training school in 2027 — and we can't get there without you. Specific pieces a partner can stand behind:

Finish the student dormitorythe beds we're missing — the reason we turn students away
Fit out the teaching kitchenwhere most of the training actually happens
A full student scholarshipsix months of training, room, and board for one student who couldn't otherwise come
Field-kit for a graduatethe treatment supplies and materials a graduate takes home to begin

We don't have a final construction budget to publish yet — write to us and we'll walk you through the building plan and what's needed most right now.

Two ways to help

Give through OCI, or talk to us first

Pearl Health Center doesn't take payments on this website. Gifts are handled by Outpost Centers International — the ministry we serve under — so your donation is receipted properly and reaches us in full.

Outpost Centers International

Outpost Centers International is a US-registered 501(c)(3) that supports self-supporting Adventist ministries worldwide, including ours. The link opens OCI's own secure donation page, already set to Pearl Health Center — nothing on this site handles your card.

Giving to a different project? This link is set up for the training school. The Country Life café and store, the farm, and the media work are funded separately — write to us and we'll point your gift to the right place.

Rather talk first?

Plenty of partners want to understand the work before they give — where the money goes, what's already built, what we still can't afford. Write to us and someone from the ministry will answer personally. There's no pressure and no follow-up you didn't ask for.

Help us open the doors in 2027

A single gift can finish a room, or send a student out. Ask us to walk you through the building plan and this year's cohort.

We use what you send only to write back to you. We don't sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
